Big industrialists are also showing a lot of enthusiasm. According to Consul General in Houston Aseem Mahajan, the Indian-American community and key business stakeholders in various industries including energy, space, health, education and IT are eagerly awaiting PM Modi's historic visit to the US. Mahajan said several messages are being received daily from elected officials, prominent business bodies and other Indian American organizations across the country, who are eager to welcome PM Modi and are also being shared on social media.
Leaders from Texas and other regions across the country are jetting off to New York and Washington DC to witness the momentous event. Several event organizers have reported scenes from 20 cities with high demand for tickets to Modi's events. This reflects his immense popularity in America, which many believe has not waned even after his nine years in power.
